Iyengar Yoga Workshop with Karin Rensfelt.
When: Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm.
About: The phrase finding your balance can hold many different meanings. How do you find balance in Ardha Chandrasana (half moon pose)? In your yoga practice? How do you find balance in your life? In regards to balancing asanas (poses), BKS Iyengar has said, “You must hold the balance by the intelligence of the body – by instinct or the sense of equilibrium – and not by strength. When you keep the balance by strength, it is physical action; when you keep it by the intelligence of the body, it is relaxation in action.” In this workshop we’ll explore that sense of equilibrium in various yoga poses and how working with the outer body can help bring quietness to the inner body.
Register: Open to all levels.
