Yin and Yoga Nidra
This class is a combination of yin and restorative yoga poses, and ends with yogic nidra otherwise known as yogic sleep.
Yin Yoga works to gently stretch the connective tissues of the fascia, tendons and ligaments. Students are encouraged not to force their muscles, but instead to breathe and allow the body to open and release in its own time. Emphasis is placed on mindful awareness of one’s own body. Yin Yoga is available to all. The class will end with with restorative yoga that uses bolsters as props to emphasize support and deep relaxation, then, Lj guides you through yoga nidra as the icing on the cake and you fully surrender into bliss.
