Book an appointment and speak to us directly about setting up an appointment. You can leave a message on our voicemail at 250 339 4141. The quickest way to make contact with us is via email. Each practitioner’s email address is available on the website.

“Where are you located?”
We are centrally located in downtown Comox. Please see our contact page for more details on Nourish Wellness and how to get here.

“What is the fee per session?”
We don’t believe the fee should prevent you from seeing a therapist. Our professional fees are set in accordance with the fee schedule provided by the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, but we have a sliding scale system for those in difficult financial situations. Please contact us directly to discuss fees.

“What form of payments do you accept?”
Most of the counsellors at Nourish Wellness accept cash, cheque, credit card or e-transter at the time of service.

“Will my insurance cover therapy?”
Extended health care plans or Employee Assistance Programs may cover part or all of the counselling fees. While you are responsible for the fee at the time of the session, your counsellor will provide a receipt with her registration number, which you may submit to your insurance company or employer for direct reimbursement.

“How long does each session last?”
We generally schedule 50 minutes sessions once a week. Occasionally, extended sessions are helpful (most often for couples or families) and those can be arranged ahead of time.

“When are appointments available?”
Please contact each counsellor individually for availability. The Nourish Wellness team can generally accommodate daytime, evening and/or weekend appointments.

“What happens if I can’t make an appointment?”
Appointments can be changed or cancelled with 24 hours or more advance notice. If we are unable to schedule around a cancellation made outside this policy, an invoice will be issued for the missed session.

“Are my counseling and coaching sessions confidential?”
We understand that in order to feel comfortable, you need to know that your confidence will be protected. There are a few important instances where confidentiality cannot be maintained. Your counsellor will discuss these limitations with you personally.
