I have been working with children and families for over 25 years. My university education in Child and Youth Care, Education, and Masters in Counselling Psychology have led me to mostly work in schools, both in BC and overseas.
My passion is supporting, nurturing, and witnessing our struggle towards personal growth, learning and freedom. Building a genuine, safe, therapeutic relationship is at the core of my practice.
My love and appreciation of yoga began in my late teens when introduced to it by my grandmother. I was drawn to how accessible it is to all ages and cultures, and to it’s healing capacity from incorporating body, breath and mind. When I couldn’t find a class I liked overseas, I did my teacher training and enjoyed offering yoga classes, teaching both adults and children.
Offering counselling and personalized yoga therapy services, I specialize in grief and loss, aging, death and dying, trauma, attachment based parenting, parenting after separation, anxiety, depression, healthy boundaries, support through life transitions, mindfulness and meditation coaching.
Other passions include co-parenting my son, being active outdoors on our beautiful island, gardening and connecting with friends and family.
