    1:00 pm-2:00 pm
    2020.04.19

An Intro to Intuitive Eating: Ditch Dieting & Make Peace with Food with Lisa Cristall

Do you feel like you’ve tried all the diets or “lifestyle changes” out there to lose weight? Are you sick of counting calories, cutting carbs, or having to consult some strict list of food rules? Although these methods might lead to short-term weight loss, a large body of scientific evidence shows us they do not work in the long run.

Join Lisa Cristall, Registered Dietitian, to explore a different way of looking at well-being and nutrition. Intuitive eating is an evidence-based approach to health and wellness that helps you reconnect with your body’s signals of hunger, fullness, and satisfaction. This way of eating allows you to take care of your physical and mental health, while freeing up precious time and energy. In this workshop, we will explore the reasons why diets don’t work, and discuss the principles of intuitive eating. The workshop will offer strategies to help you create a healthy relationship with food, mind, and body.
