Kris Johnson, Meditation Instructor

I have been meditating and practicing yoga for over 15 years and am certified as a 200 level yoga instructor. In the past several years, I have deepened my study and training in mindfulness and compassion practices. Mindfulness involves paying careful attention to the present moment without judgement and it deepens our capacity for presence and stability. Nurturing awareness also fosters greater acceptance and compassion while reducing reactivity and the impacts of stress. As a mom, with two little boys, maintaining a consistent meditation practice can be challenging but is an essential gift to myself and to the well-being of my family.
